Collection Instructions Male and female urine collected with the cobas® PCR Urine Sample Kit and cervical specimens collected in PreservCyt Solution Follow the instructions for collecting urine specimens with cobas® PCR Urine Sample Kit. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for collecting cervical specimens into PreservCyt Solution.
Specimen Handling Male and female urine collected with the cobas® PCR Urine Sample Kit and cervical specimens collected in PreservCyt Solution can be transported at 2-30ºC. Note: If urine samples can't be transferred to cobas PCR Urine Sample Kit immediately after collection, they can be stored at 2-30ºC for up to 24 hours.
Rejection Criteria Samples collected in other than those indicated; incorrect sample level in cobas PCR urine tube; bloody or dark brown samples.
